Project Homeless Connect
A one-day event to help members of our community who are experiencing homelessness.
Associated Ministries’ Project Homeless Connect is a series of events that provides people experiencing homelessness a starting place on their journey back to safety, stability, and wellness. Our events provide services and resources that address basic needs such as housing assistance, medical care, dental care, employment assistance, free lunches, giveaways, benefit services, haircuts, and much more – all under one roof.
Once more, heartfelt thanks extend to our incredible volunteers including two dentists, sponsors, community allies, vendors, and others whose efforts brought our April 2024 Project Homeless Connect event to fruition! With the assistance of 36 vendors, individuals facing homelessness were able to connect vital connections to resources and services.
We had free lunch, a giveaway area, free dental services, vaccinations, HEP C testing, ID’ cards issued and more. A special thank you to Peace Lutheran Church for hosting our event. We couldn’t do this work without you! Special thank you to Pierce County Human Services Molina Healthcare Wellpoint Coordinated Care UnitedHealthcare Humana Community Health Plan of Washington Community Health Care and Valeo Vocation.
