The RADAR project.org is a nonprofit that funds children who have been victims of domestic abuse or sexual assault. In 2013, working as Sexual Assault Counselors at a local r**e crisis center in suburban Philadelphia, Meri López, an attorney, and Leslie Holt, a Victims Advocate became increasingly aware of the inefficient way in which r**e and domestic assault are reported.**

Our Story
The R.A.D.A.R. Project is proud to announce the introduction of our new program, A Child’s Light. A Child’s Light was created to fund the most vulnerable in our communities to find access to mental health treatment. Children who have experience r**e, sexual, and physical violence do not report for 1 year of longer, in which time the child is very likely to have difficulties with shame, guilt and low self worth. This feeling of self loathing feeds into a cycle of risky behaviors that too often lead to not continuing in
school, early pregnancy, use of alcohol and hard drugs. The systems and agencies that are assigned to this issue are over loaded and sometimes not able to help children. That is where A Child’s Light will help.
