Sonia Kovalevsky Day - April 16, 2022

- An "Infinite Ring" for a Fibonacci day (8-13-21). Escape Time Fractal based on the hyperbolic sin z = c*sinh(z).

- A bit of a throwback for me. I first made this about 20 years ago as a picture for a nursery. "Soft" - Escape Time Julia Fractal of Barnsley3 Type.

- In case you were wondering where the "Desert River" flowed to from last week - Escape Time Julia Fractal generated from z = z^4.124 + c.

- "Desert River" - Time to revisit the escape time Julia Fractal generated from z = z^4.124 + c.

- A variation of the Phoenix fractal that was discovered by Shigehiro Ushiki.

- And back to a Crazy Seuss world. Another visualization of the Hyperbolic Sine.

- "The Dark Tower" - After a week off it's back to exploring the escape time fractal generated from the hyperbolic sine (z = c * sinh(z)). You really need to click the image to see all of it.

- Leaving the dark comic graphic novel theme and going Dr. Seuss. Amazingly this is ALSO a visualization of the Hyperbolic Sine like last week's fractal.

- Continuing with the "Dark Comic" theme from last Friday. Same fractal ... Different location in it. Escape Time Fractal using the Hyperbolic Sine (z = c * sinh(z)).

- "Welcome to the Dark Comic" Found a great world to play around in. Looking around the fractal was like finding a dark comic graphic novel. Crazy to think this is just a visualization of a function. Escape Time Fractal using the Hyperbolic Sine (z = c * sinh(z)).

- Julia Set on a variation of the Mandelbrot (z = z^2.124 + c). It reminds me of the crabs at night on the Texas Gulf Coast sands.

- An outside region of the classic Mandelbrot Fractal (z = z^2 + c). This one feels like I'm looking up through the trees at night.

- Julia Set Escape Time Fractal ( z = z^2.124 + c). I'll just use this as a mathematical "Rorschach Test" ... If this was a real place, where would it be?

- Escape Time Fractal made using a Min/Max trap on the sequence orbits. I call the image "Flight" because ... well you can guess!

What do you see?
