A truly engaging week with the students from the Khayelitsha and Nyanga school communities. The SADRA Conflict & Peer Mediation Youth Training camps equip our young people with the skills to deal with conflict, not only in their school communities but also internally. A highlight of the workshop was having over 5 coaches / group leaders from previous workshops, as far back as 2018. We look forward to hearing about he mediations that will take place in their school communities.

Community Stakeholders and Frontline workers gathered together to present key findings of SGBV in their areas, this was a very fruitful experience as this event had so many initiatives already happening in these communities. 🤼‍♂️🙏🏾✌️

May, June and July is focused on engaging grassroots community leaders and seeking to understand from their perspective the impact of violence in communities, with special focus on SGBV. A thanks and appreciation to Community Leaders of Nyanga, Mfuleni, Khayelitsha and Khayamandi. And thanks to all the NGOs, CBOs and Faith Based Organizations who came to assist SADRA. We we will be coming back to each community with consolidated information on what you have been saying are the key issues in your community. Thank you
