Last night, I had the pleasure of attending Kirstin Ferguson's book launch for "Head & Heart: The Art of Modern Leadership."

In a video segment attached, Kirsten makes a thought-provoking remark at 1.20 minutes regarding the gradual decline of curiosity over time and emphasises the significance of actively nurturing its growth. This idea is supported by a research paper that reveals a disparity between the value placed on curiosity (92%) and the number of individuals who actually experience curiosity in their work (24%).

This observation aligns with the principles underlying mindfulness and meditation, where curiosity holds a prominent role. Cultivating and sustaining curiosity are essential aspects of these practices. I'm intrigued to hear about your approach to fostering and maintaining curiosity in your personal mindfulness and meditation practice. Do you consider it a fundamental element?

Feeling privileged to embark on another incredible work trip! ✈️

Thanks to the new direct flight by Bonza Airlines, I'll be jetting off to my speaking gig in the picturesque Hunter Valley. This opportunity not only allows me to share my knowledge but also gifts me with a weekend of pampering.

Every quarter I choose to mindfully give back to the community who wouldn't otherwise be able to engage my services and deliver an inhouse mindfulness workshop.
However since moving here last year the pro bono offerings have mostly continued to be online with my existing network in Melbourne and Sydney. This year I want to offer these in person to the Sunshine Coast Community or Brisbane.

I woke up a few days ago to this beautiful sunrise and an idea came to me. If there were enough people interested I would be happy to create a 5 day mindfulness challenge to navigate the workday.

What do you think?

Lets face it because we are incredibly busy we contemplate a mindfulness practice or learning this technique but quickly forget about it as its not sustainable for our busy life today. For this reason I am thinking of a 15/20 min daily video call with some resources to use if you choose to explore further. It will be designed for busy people!

Should I create it? If so let me know in a message or below. Will only run if there is enough interest.

As we approach the end of the year it is a time that we are all racing to try and get things finished so we can enjoy an extended end of year break.

We are pushing and striving and then by the time end of year break comes we are exhausted and using the time to recover.

Maybe we could try and do it differently this year. After all practicing within the chaos is key. As often we try and integrate a new practice when everything is perfect, like on a holiday etc.

What would be helpful for you leading up to your break so that you don't use your holiday time to recover? How can you manage this month better so that you still meet outcomes without pushing aside your wellbeing?
