Excess yang produces excess inflammation, can exhaust the nervous system and nature will force a yin balance (bad back, stiffness, sickness etc)
Itโs in perfect union of these forces that we create harmony, balance, flow and longevity.

Lifting weights is awesome.
But what if I told you doing some mobility work and throwing in cardio from time to time would actually make you STRONGER.
Improved mobility = movement through a greater range of motion = more strength.
โ ๐โโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ
The problem with focusing on cardio without lifting weights is that youโll eventually lose muscle.
You wonโt look toned. To look toned you need enough muscle to give your limbs shape.
โ ๐ง๐พโโ๏ธ๐ง๐พโโ๏ธ๐ง๐พโโ๏ธ
Focusing just on yoga (or Pilates) is another issue I see all the time, especially with those who are either scared that weights will make them bulky, or are too intimidated to lift weights.
Yoga has a TON of benefits. You should do it, or at least spend time doing mobility work on a consistent basis.
But it doesnโt have the same muscle-preserving or strength-building effects that strength training has.

Mobility is most neglected modality and is one of if not the most crucial for injury prevention.
