৯। মানসিক চাপ নিয়ন্ত্রন করুন।
১০। প্রচুর জ্ঞান অর্জন করুন।
১১। নেতিবাচক কথা মন থেকে দূর করে ইতিবাচক চিন্তা করুন।
১২। সামাজিক দক্ষতা যেমন চোখে চোখ রেখে কথা বলুন, পোষাক পরিচ্ছদে পরিপাটি ও পরিচ্ছন্নতা বজায় রাখুন।
১৩। নিজের উপর বিশ্বাস রাখুন।
১৪। অন্যকে সাহায্য করুন।

ওয়ার্ল্ড ফেডারেশন অফ মেন্টাল হেলথ (ডব্লিউএফএমএইচ) মানসিক স্বাস্থ্য সম্পর্কে সচেতনতা বাড়াতে এবং মানসিক রোগে আক্রান্ত ব্যক্তিদের সম্পর্কে নেতিবাচক ধারণা ও বৈষম্যের বিরুদ্ধে লড়াই করার জন্য ১৯৯২ সাল থেকে বিশ্বজুড়ে ১০-ই অক্টোবরকে "বিশ্ব মানসিক স্বাস্থ্য দিবস" হিসাবে উদযাপন করে।

সমস্ত মানুষ স্বাধীনভাবে জন্মগ্রহণ করে এবং সবার মর্যাদা ও অধিকারে সমান। বিশ্বজুড়ে প্রায় ১ বিলিয়ন মানুষ একটি মানসিক ব্যাধি নিয়ে বসবাস করছে। বাংলাদেশে ২ কোটি ৮০ লাখ মানুষ মানসিক রোগে ভুগছে কিন্তু মাত্র প্রায়। আমাদের দেশে মোট বাজেটের 0.৪৪% মানসিক স্বাস্থ্যের জন্য বরাদ্দ করা হয়।

মানসিকভাবে অসুস্থ রোগীদের মানবাধিকার বিভিন্নভাবে লঙ্ঘন হচ্ছে - পারিবারিক সহযোগিতার অভাব, শারীরিক নির্যাতন ও যৌন নির্যাতন, বৈষম্য, নেতিবাচক ধারণা, শিক্ষাগত বঞ্চনা, বিবাহবিচ্ছেদ, মানসিক স্বাস্থ্যসেবা পেতে অক্ষম, সম্পত্তির বঞ্চনা, বেকারত্ব এবং কর্মক্ষেত্রে বৈষম্য।

অধিকার সংরক্ষণ, এবং মানসিক স্বাস্থ্য সুরক্ষা ও প্রচারের জন্য সরকার, সমাজ এবং পরিবারকে নিম্নলিখিত লক্ষ্যগুলির জন্য নিম্নলিখিত পথ অবলম্বন করতে হবে-

১। কার্যকর নেতৃত্ব ও সুশাসনকে শক্তিশালী করা।

২। একটি তৃণমুল পর্যায়ে সমন্বিত মানসিক স্বাস্থ্যসেবা প্রদান করতে হবে।

৩। তথ্য ব্যবস্থা, প্রমাণ, এবং গবেষণা শক্তিশালী করুন।

৪। সার্বজনীন স্বাস্থ্যসেবা প্রদান ।

৫। মানসিক স্বাস্থ্য কৌশল, ক্রিয়াকলাপ এবং চিকিত্সা, প্রতিরোধ এবং প্রচারের জন্য হস্তক্ষেপগুলি অবশ্যই প্রতিবন্ধী ব্যক্তিদের অধিকার এবং অন্যান্য আন্তর্জাতিক এবং আঞ্চলিক মানবাধিকারের কনভেনশনের সাথে সঙ্গতিপূর্ণ হতে হবে৷

৬। চিকিত্সা, প্রতিরোধ, এবং প্রচার বৈজ্ঞানিক প্রমাণের উপর ভিত্তি করে এবং সাংস্কৃতিক বিবেচনা বিবেচনায় নেওয়া প্রয়োজন।

৭। শৈশব থেকে বৃদ্ধ বয়স পর্যন্ত জীবনের সমস্ত পর্যায়ে মানসিক স্বাস্থ্যের জন্য নীতি, পরিকল্পনা এবং পরিষেবাগুলি গ্রহণ করা উচিত।

৮। মাল্টিসেক্টরাল পদ্ধতি।

প্রতিটি মানুষের মতো মানসিকভাবে অসুস্থ রোগীরও মর্যাদা ও স্বাধীনতা নিয়ে পৃথিবীতে বেঁচে থাকার অধিকার রয়েছে। সুতরাং, এটি আবার আমাদের সকলকে মনে করিয়ে দিয়েছে যে "মানসিক স্বাস্থ্য একটি সর্বজনীন মানবাধিকার"

The World Mental Health Day

Theme: "Mental Health is a universal human right"

The World Federation of Mental Health (WFMH) celebrated the 10th of October as “World Mental Health Day” around the world since 1992 to raise awareness about mental health & to fight against stigma & discrimination regarding people with mental illness.

All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. Approximately 1 billion people around the world are living with a mental disorder. In Bangladesh, 2 crore 80 lacs people are suffering from mental illness but only approx. 0.44% of the total budget is allocated to mental health.

Human rights violations in mentally ill patients are lack of family support, physical abuse & sexual abuse, discrimination, stigma, educational deprivation, divorce, unable to access mental healthcare, deprivation of property, unemployment, and discrimination in the workplace.

To preserve rights, and protect and promote mental health the government, society, and family have to initiate and track the following road to the following goals -

1. Strengthen effective leadership & governance.

2. Provide comprehensive, integrated mental health care in a community-based setting.

3. Strengthen information systems, evidence, and research.

4. Universal health coverage.

5. Mental health strategies, actions, and interventions for treatment, prevention, and promotion must be compliant with the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and other international and regional human rights.

6. The treatment, prevention, and promotion need to be based on scientific evidence and take cultural considerations into account.

7. Policies, plans, and services for mental health should be taken at all stages of the life course from infancy to older age.

8. Multisectoral approach.

Like every human mentally ill patient has the right to live in the world with dignity and freedom. So, it has again reminded us all that "Mental health is a universal human right"
