Frost Festival is fast approaching! Check out our website for all of the great programming we are pulling together for this year’s festival! Www.creativecitycentre.ca

Creative City Centre is very exited to announce that effective December 1, we will no longer be located at 1843 Hamilton Street. After 15 years in the top two floors of that heritage building with no elevator, we are moving to a new home! Our new space has a wheelchair ramp and an elevator and is located mere steps from the 11th Avenue transit hub. Not only that, but our performance, classroom and exhibition spaces will be located on the main floor. No more walking up two flights of stairs to see one of our music concerts!

Our new facility is located just two blocks away on Cornwall Street, but we won’t be open for business until our 2024-2025 season starts next September as we have some major renovations to complete before we’ll be ready to welcome you into our new and improved home.

During this transition year, we will continue to host Word Up events at the Artesian and other venues, and we are also going to keep running our Drink & Draw events at the Hampton Hub on the 15th. We’re taking a short break for the upcoming holiday season, but we’ll be back with our regular programming in the new year, as well as contributing to the annual Frost Festival activities in downtown Regina. We have lots of things in the works!

We will also be launching a capital campaign in 2024, and when the time comes, we hope you will consider contributing to our building renovation fund. We have presented over 1500 events in our third-floor gallery space since we opened our doors in 2011 (pre-pandemic), and we look forward to bringing you a robust and diverse season of music concerts, poetry slams, open mics, film screenings, improv nights, art exhibitions, workshops, and more when we re-open in September 2024.

It’s been our pleasure to serve our community from our “little space that could” at 1843 Hamilton Street. But we’re beyond excited for our new and improved facility and will be sharing more details with you as things progress.

Best wishes for the New Year,
Marian, Eric, Jess and Riley
