Festive breakfast idea 🙌
GINGERBREAD OVERNIGHT OATS 🎅
½ cup rolled oats
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 dates chopped into small pieces
¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
¼ teaspoon ground ginger
⅛ teaspoon ground nutmeg
⅓ cup skimmed milk (you can substitute any kind of milk)
⅓ cup fat-free sugar-free natural yoghurt
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Place all the ingredients into a small container and stir together thoroughly. Pop a lid on the container and leave to chill in the fridge for at least 4 hours. When you're ready to eat, remove the lid and tuck in.
This is one of my fav go to breakfasts. You can also add protein powder, which is great to get in on training days. Mix it with the milk first before adding everything else.
1/2 cup porridge oats
1/2 cup non-fat milk
1/2 cup non-fat plain Greek yogurt
1 teaspoon chia seeds (optional)
1 cup fresh mixed berries and fruit
Cooking Instructions
Add the oats to your container of choice and pour in milk. Layer Greek yogurt, chia seeds and mixed fruit and berries. Stick it in the fridge overnight and enjoy in the morning!
🔥Mental Health Monday🔥
Mental health is a buzz word these days.... And rightly so.
Exercise improves mental health by reducing anxiety, depression, and negative mood and by improving self-esteem and cognitive function. Exercise has also been found to alleviate symptoms such as low self-esteem and social withdrawal.
So here we are, me and the little man out getting our exercise this morning with the sheep and the great outdoors.

As we worked on achieving this target we have brought Imogen's measurements in making her leaner and at the same time increasing her strength endurance!

Everyone has their own gym journey and so far Shannan is smashing hers. Her goal was to become more lean, whilst improving her strength, in particular her lower body (legs,glutes,core).

Gym anxiety is common when you first start working out somewhere new. On the other hand, for those with social anxiety disorder (SAD), fear about going to the gym or attending gym class can be so severe that it interferes with just getting through the day
Methods of coping with social anxiety at the gym fall into five broad categories: managing negative thoughts, building confidence, gradual exposure, getting help, and choosing alternatives.
