The highlight of the meeting was the election of ASEF’s new leadership for the 2024-2028 term. Congratulations to Ms Beata STOCZYNSKA, who will become the first ASEF ED from Poland and the first female ED of ASEF, as well as to Mr ZHANG Lei of China who will be the next DED!

Belgium reaffirms its unwavering support for the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) which plays a crucial role in fostering people-to-people contacts between Asia and Europe.
