Want to take your fitness and nutrition to the next level? The 4 week mini challenge starts August 4th and ends September 1st (right before Labor Day weekend!)

This challenge is designed to push you to the next level of your wellness journey. If you have completed a 6 week challenge in the past, this is a great way to improve on the skills you have already built. If you have never done a challenge at Chicago Strength, then this is the perfect time to start. The 4 week challenge is a shorter version with a “choose your own adventure” component. This will give you the freedom to choose what guidelines you will follow throughout the 4 weeks under the limitation that you complete them all at least once. The challenge is designed to incorporate the curveballs of every day, all while building healthy and sustainable habits.

Friday Night Lights! Come for the open workout or hangout and cheer folks on!!

This Friday evening at Avondale, from 4:30 to 6:30, we will be running heats for Open workout 22.1. All locations are welcome and encouraged to join. Seltzers and beer will be provided, but feel free to BYOB.

All Friday WODs at every gym will be running the Open workout for each class over the next 3 weeks.

Next Friday, 3/4, Friday Night Lights will be at Logan Square, and the following week, 3/11, it will be at River North. Don’t forget to sign up on mindbody if you haven’t yet!

| How long have you been a member at CS? |

Going on 9 years, come October.

| What is your favorite workout? or class? |

Each day I make class, regardless of CrossFit or Fitness, I am glad I came. Squat and clean days are usually my favorites. I also love the sled and battle ropes.

| Who is Tiffany? |

I am a human cat 🐱. Don’t be scared to come up and say hi. 👋

Meet our Chicago Strength Avondale Community Manager !!

We asked Gianna a few questions and these were her answers.

| How long have you been a member at CS? |

I joined CS in April of 2021!

| What is your favorite workout? or class? |

Metcons are one of my favorites! I love the combination of CrossFit movements paired with cardio conditioning. For anyone that doesn't have a strong CrossFit background like myself, these were great classes to start with to learn the movements while getting a good sweat in!

| About Gianna |

I have lived in Chicago now for two years. Health and fitness has been a big part of my life the past six years. I love to cook and trying out new recipes (I am terrible at actually following a recipe, so I tend to make it up as I go). I have always loved to travel and experience new cultures- looking forward to being able to do that again soon! A majority of my professional background is in hospitality and events so I am really looking forward to planning some fun parties with our Avondale community! 🎉
