Following reports of atrocious human rights violations in their homeland, Esther and Camille Ntoto relocated to war-torn Congo in 2005. With conviction from God, they founded Africa New Day (AND) to help bring hope and restoration through the love of Christ. Ministering in one of the most unstable regions of the world, they believe in God’s plans for the people of Africa – “plans to prosper them a

Sons of Congo (SOC) began in 2010 to address broken and wounded men through a unique, Bible-based curriculum. Over 90 percent of perpetrators of gender-based violence in the DRC are men. A culture of impunity, addiction, sexual assault, genocide and high levels of male unemployment have thwarted men's ability to step into their God-given roles as protectors and leaders.
Rather than solely focusing on supporting victims, we believe men must be a part of the solution. Through relationship-based education and discipleship, we address a broken and wounded masculinity that contributes to ongoing violence.

Women are the backbone of society in DRC, yet most of them have endured unimaginable hardship and trauma.
✨Women of Congo (WOC) rehabilitates, trains, equips and empowers the women of the DRC and reminds them of their invaluable roles in society. The result is a restoration of dignity and self-esteem. WOC trains women in literacy, finances and leadership, aiding them as they grow in influence in their community.

Perhaps the most effective way to transform the DRC is through educating children and empowering them to have a better life.
Nelson Mandela once said, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”
Africa New Day has joined the fight by creating a school to educate a new generation with an empowering curriculum. Our goal is to mitigate the previous barriers to education exacerbated by wars, natural disasters, displacement, gender and more.
Along with the national education curriculum, students are taught leadership, entrepreneurship, music and dance. These future leaders prepare to become the solutions to issues faced by their families, their communities and beyond..
1. Africa New Day is already on the ground with over 150 small businesses and almost 200 Congolese employees seeking to transform the Congo from within using sustainable, long-term solutions. Our programs address the poverty and lack of education faced by the Congolese.
2. Our Generation Hope program provides basic necessities, education and support for street children and other children who aren’t in school. Children can come to the Africa New Day Center to gain literacy, vocational skills, and community and mental health support, which begins to break the cycle of poverty that keeps people in the mines.
3. We also focus on advocacy, supporting policy that improves child labor laws, as well as policies between the DR Congo and other nations regarding mining and the use of the land.
When you give to Africa New Day, you’re impacting the lives of the Congolese in a measurable way through programs that are already making a big difference.

As the number in the displacement camps swells and conflict continues in the DRC, we have taken action by creating a Child-Friendly Area. This initiative serves as a rapid response to the educational requirements of displaced children, providing them with a safe space to play and learn.
Children matter. We won't look away from the adversity they are facing.
