Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave. The ceremony begins at 10AM followed by wreath laying at 11AM. Let’s remember and pay our respects together.

Today, the Commissioners Court approved and adopted a resolution recognizing the finalists selected for the Healing Garden Mural Artist Competition.

As part of Phase II of the El Paso County Healing Garden, Judge Samaniego, invited mural artists to submit their artwork for consideration with the requirement that the theme of the art promote healing, bi-nationality, and positivity.

El Paso County is joining the National Association of Counties (NACo) by illuminating county buildings green in support of military veterans. Operation Green Light for Veterans, the nationwide effort uniting counties to honor their military heroes, will take place from Nov 1st. to Nov. 30th.

The community is encouraged to support our Veterans by simply changing one light bulb in their home to a green bulb. By shining a green light, we salute our veterans for all their dedication and sacrifice.
