The Blue Knights International Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club holds a special place in the hearts of its members, embodying the values of honor, loyalty, and dedication. Heaven 1 serves as the chapter where our members are transferred to upon their passing, symbolizing the eternal bond we share. It is here that we remember the great men and women who have gone before us, their courage and sacrifice forever etched in our collective memory. As a club, we stand united in our commitment to never forget their legacy, their contributions, and the impact they made in the law enforcement and motorcycle community. Nemo Me Impune Lacessit, a Latin phrase meaning "No one provokes me with impunity," serves as a powerful reminder of our unwavering resolve and determination. Together, we honor, remember, and pay homage to those who have paved the way for us.

For the past 20 years, being a Blue Knight has been a deeply enriching experience for me and my family. The Blue Knights have not only been a source of camaraderie and lifelong friendships, but also a family-oriented organization that has embraced my children and grandchildren.

The brotherhood and sisterhood that exists among Blue Knights transcend geographical boundaries, connecting us with like-minded individuals in 34 countries and territories around the world. The love for riding motorcycles is what initially brought us together, but it is the shared values and sense of community that have kept us united.

As we celebrate 50 years of the Blue Knights, I am reminded of the countless memories and bonds that have been forged over the years. The Blue Knights have become a second family to me, and my own family has been embraced and welcomed with open arms. It is a testament to the inclusive and warm nature of our organization.

I am immensely proud to have served continuously on the International Board of Directors since 2006. This role has allowed me to contribute to the positive development of the Blue Knights, ensuring that our values of friendship, respect, and service remain at the core of everything we do.

In the Blue Knights, there are no strangers, only friends you haven't met. This philosophy has guided us in welcoming new members into our family, fostering an environment of acceptance and support. The bonds formed within the Blue Knights are strong and enduring, creating a network of lifelong friendships that transcend borders and time.

As I reflect on my 20-year journey as a Blue Knight, I am grateful for the love, support, and sense of belonging that this organization has provided to me and my family. Here's to 50 years of the Blue Knights, and to the continued growth of our global family.

I am truly honored to be part of this remarkable organization and look forward to great times and adventures for years to come.

Ride with pride and God bless,

DJ Alvarez

Remembering the 32 civilians killed and 300 injured in the bombings on 03-22-2016 in Brussels, Belgium. To my Belgium friends who were on duty during the cowardly attacks and the aftermath, thank you. Never forget!

As of the close of business today 147 chapter renewals have been processed. There’s still a ways to go and you have until January 31st before late fees per member are accessed.

A reminder that renewals are all online and I’ve included the link to the very simple chapter renewal instructions that our International Webmaster Joe Ball took the time to do to help folks out.

The instructions are located in the members only section on the International website so when you click on the link you’ll have to log in to view them.

Blue Knights Texas VII 09/03/2023

The Blue Knights International Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club is rallying together to raise funds for the Maui Police Department in their time of need. All donations will be directed to the Maui Police Foundation, a recognized 501C3 non-profit organization. Heartbreakingly, seven police officers, four police trainees, and their families have tragically lost everything in recent fires on Maui. It's important to note that this also affects the support and sworn personnel who have been impacted as well. With the help from the Texas 7 chapter in Houston, they're taking the lead in spearheading this crucial fundraiser for me. I urge all members, chapters, and conferences to generously contribute to this cause, providing much-needed support to these brave individuals and their families during this challenging period. The website is live now so click on the link to read more and make a donation via PayPal or get the chapter address to mail a check. Together, we can make a difference.

Sincerely,

DJ Alvarez

Had a great time in Terra Haute at the Summer GLRC hosted by Indiana X who did an outstanding job! Great seeing everyone and wishing safe travels home or their next destination. Got to the airport at 1pm this afternoon for my 505pm flight back home to Houston. Made good use of my 4 hour wait doing Blue Knights business. First call with a conference board was rescheduled and later had a zoom meeting the Executive Committee that went well. Spoked with a Texas chapter that’s wanting to spearhead a fundraiser for members of the Maui Police Department. I’ve reached out to the Hawaii 1 Chapter President and waiting for a call back. Will be back home in Texas later tonight and back to work early in the morning!

For the BK Spyder riders out there, Indiana 3 is looking at getting a sales permit for this. Contact Larry Vanosdol if you’re interested drop him an email ([email protected]).
