Our Story

Since 1997, the District 181 Foundation has supported school initiatives that are not, or cannot be, funded by tax dollars alone. To date, we have invested more than $1,000,000 in District 181 schools.

Our programs, including Young Writer’s Night, Art Exhibit, Got STEM 181 science night and KIDS Grants, enrich and excite the minds of students.

Through our Community Speaker Series we deliver important education, child development and wellness information and resources to parents and engaged members of the community.

And, we provide funds to district educators to support learning in the classroom and for professional development opportunities.
