“Ceramics of Hawaii 2020”
Postponed until 2021
Hawai’i Potters’ Guild regrets to announce that the second statewide juried all ceramics exhibition at the Honolulu Museum of Art School Gallery has been postponed until 2021.
We are working with the Honolulu Museum of Art School on a new date. As information becomes available, we will update you.
We look forward to seeing how the ceramic artist community expresses their interpretation of the theme “RESILIENCE”
is hard! We get it. We miss seeing you too. But we'd love to see all the creative ways you're keeping your clay spirit alive.
Whether you're potting at home, taking a clay class online or channeling your creativity into lots of cooking baking or cleaning to keep you sane, we'd love for you to share and keep our Guild family connected during this time.
Tag us so we can repost!
While we were hoping that we would not need to close, after today's guidance from the Governor we have made the difficult decision to close the studio for two weeks, from Sunday 3/22 through 4/4. Visit our website
to learn more about our closure and revised studio calendar.
‐--------------‐---------
Stay safe, stay connected, and protect yourself and others. We appreciate your support and understanding during this difficult time.

Kanpai! We celebrated a successful first firing of our new kiln tonight with a sake celebration. So fun! We are so very grateful to for his generous donation in honor of Susan that made this new kiln possible, to our kiln builder , to our kiln team Roy and and their many helpers, and to our fearless leader for bringing us together tonight. What a wonderful community we have here at HPG.
These guys. Thank you Jack and Roy for all your thoughtful planning, tireless work and can-do attitude to bring our new kiln to life. We did it!
