St. Francis Healthcare System of Hawaii
St. Francis Healthcare System is Hawaii’s only Catholic healthcare system.
We specialize in pre-and post-acute care, and are committed to helping you access the most appropriate level of care for you and your family.
Our President & CEO Kathy Morimoto shares a special message as she reflects on 20 years of the Sisters of St. Francis of the Neumann Communities. We look forward to seeing all the good work the Sisters of St. Francis of the Neumann Communities put into the world for the next 20 years and beyond!
In celebration of 20 years of unity for the Sisters of St. Francis of the Neumann Communities, our team united for a coffee hour, featuring homemade treats, coffee, and tea.
Thank you to our wonderful volunteers who supported the St. Francis Healthcare System Volunteer Department in putting this celebratory coffee hour together!
On this day 20 years ago, the Sisters of St. Francis of the Neumann Communities was formed as a reunification of three Franciscan branches. Together, the group has increased the reach of their services and ministry, illustrating Psalm 133:1, "How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!”

Losing a loved one can feel overwhelming, but you're not alone. If you or someone you know resides on the West Side and is going through the grieving process, we're here to offer support.
Join our new in-person bereavement support group led by Kelly Acuña, LSW, in Kapolei. Every third Friday of the month, from 10 am to 11:30 am, at the Kalaeloa Professional Center (91-1010 Shangrila St. Suite 303-304), find solace and understanding in a community of others who are navigating similar experiences.
Let's walk this journey together. Our St. Francis Bereavement Social Workers offer guidance and support every step of the way. Call St. Francis Healthcare System at (808) 595-7566 and ask to speak to a Bereavement Social Worker.
St. Francis Preschool director Rochelle Takata has more than three decades of experience as an early childhood educator and preschool director. She has served as St. Francis Preschool’s founding director since it opened more than a decade ago.
"We have had so many compliments from parents. The best one is always, ‘Thank you for all that you do. My child loves school because of you and your staff," Rochelle says.

☕️ St. Francis Bereavement Social Workers Monica Bailey-Jubé, LSW, and Kelly Acuña, LSW, understand the importance of companionship and support when navigating the loss of a loved one. That's why they've introduced Grief Cafe, a warm and welcoming space where those who share similar experiences can come together over coffee, tea, and treats. Grief Cafe is an extension of St. Francis' Bereavement Support Groups and is designed to offer a more casual opportunity for members to connect – to talk about grief, laugh over cookies and tea., and strengthen new friendships. Thank you, Monica and Kelly, for creating this uplifting space!

A Special Tribute - MidWeek Gov. Josh Green and Jerry Correa, former president and CEO of St. Francis Healthcare System of Hawai‘i, are the honorees..
Join us for Friday's free online presentation led by Hookuaaina at Kapalai at 9:30 AM! "Nani ke kalo" (beautiful the taro) is a foundational lesson at Hoʻokuaʻāina – one that sets the tone for everything that takes place at Kapalai. As the main staple and elder sibling of the Hawaiian people, kalo (taro) was considered sacred. Hence, when working with or preparing kalo to be eaten, great respect must be given and demonstrated.

Gratefulness is powerful. Be sure to send a thank you note or email, or make a call to family members or friends who took time to spend with your loved one during the holidays. Share about the positive impact their visit made. Who knows…this may encourage them to visit more and provide more support for you!
May God’s peace reign in your heart this Advent Season and throughout the New Year. May you always be reminded of the Savior’s unwavering love through life’s beautiful and trying moments.
