World Breastfeeding Week is an annual celebration that aims to raise awareness and advocate for breastfeeding policies and programs. It is held from August 1 to 7 in more than 120 countries around the world.
By celebrating World Breastfeeding Week, we can join the global movement to protect, promote, and support breastfeeding. It is not only a matter of health, but also a matter of human rights, justice, and sustainability.

Part time lactation consultant wanted to teach, coach, and support breastfeeding skills to mother-infant dyad. IBCLC certified with excellent teaching, verbal and written communication skills to provide support and services to clients over the telephone and/or one-on-one counseling in our office and is also able to maintain a positive working relationship with other medical and professionals in the community. Knowledge of breast pumps and breastfeeding supplies is also helpful.
