As a part of Program Board, the Speakers Committee serves the University of Southern California students, staff, faculty, and surrounding community by bringing a multitude of diversified speakers to campus every academic school year. As a Brooklyn-based comedian, Julio Torres has co-created and starred in LOS ESPOOKYS on HBO. Currently he is starting in his newest HBO comedy special, “MY FAVORITE SHAPES.” Torres is also an Emmy-nominated writer for SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE where his work on received much acclaim from various publications, including THE NEW YORK TIMES.
