Our most recent adoption was for Theodora aka Teddy! Teddy was one of three kittens that “showed up” at one of the community cat colonies where we feed. Angie White fostered her until she had some home construction done and I took over. Kimberly Trouy was so kind to sponsor her vetting. It truly takes teamwork. It is always sad to say goodbye, but I love the smiles of her new family!

It was Steve’s turn to be adopted next. He was one of the kittens of our beloved Ramona Lisa who showed up in a volunteer’s driveway clearly ready to pop. The kittens were bumped around to several fosters - (thank you!)

We have had a few adoptions recently. First up is Liesel. Volunteer Angela Joiner brought us this handsome floof along with his brothers and Lisa Kennedy took over his fostering when he and Pickles took a break from the habitat.
When his adopters saw Liesel they knew he was a match for their young kitty. He is already friends with her.🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛

Check out those whiskers why don't cha?! Rocket is approx 3 months old and still waiting for the purrrfect family. Can you tell by his concerned expressions that he is ready? He loves to play hard so dont let that detour you, he purrs the moment you pet him, and is does great with other cats. Rocket is currently at Petsmart (5883 Poplar) if you would like to meet him. Our little adoptable Gabby is so excited for Halloween, but she still can’t decide on a costume. She’s got the ears to be a bat, but she also has the perfect stripes to be a tiger. She could definitely go as a teddy bear because she’s so cuddly or a soccer player because she loves to chase a ball. So many options when you are this cute and well rounded.

Little Scuffle waking up from his nap! He just loves to sleep in a paper bag ?? Scuffle is approximately 4 months old now, and he is such a little gentleman -- when he isn't a menace to society ?? He is full of that kitten energy, and every once in a while he slows down just long enough for a snuggle. He loves to lie in sunny places, and he is a FIEND for toys! Balls, wands, squeakers, laser pointers, a random sock. He LOVES other cats, even when they don't love him.

As temperatures have begun to drop, please take an extra minute to bang on the hood, honk the horn, walk around and inspect the wheel wells (and even the engine) of your car to make sure no critters are stowing away in an effort to stay warm. The feeling that comes with saving a life, is hard to describe!! 🎊💜😸
