Town of Munster utility bills are due on the 20th of each month. Please note that if the 20th falls on a weekend, the due date will be the next business day.

Munster Town Hall is open Monday - Friday from 7:30 am - 4:30 pm. Payments are accepted online and in the red drop box in the Town Hall parking lot.

Helpful information to help the Town of Munster efficiently and safely battle snow fall.

With tomorrow's impending snowstorm, Public Works requests the public's assistance with our plowing efforts.
❄️The best place to be during a storm is at HOME. If you must travel, please stay at least 50 ft. behind the plows.
❄️If you see multiple trucks plowing in tandem, DO NOT attempt to get in between them. Stay 50 ft. back from last plow.
❄️We are responsible for removing snow from 220 lane miles of streets. We start with the main and secondary roads followed by residential streets. Cul de sacs and alleys are cleared last. We will get to your street, but main roads are a priority until the snow stops falling.
❄️Please do not park in the street.
❄️Please do not put snow from sidewalks or driveways into the street.

The weather did not cooperate this year. The holiday lights at Town Hall will on beginning this evening for you enjoyment throughout the session.

🚫Light the Night Event scheduled for tonight is cancelled due to inclement weather.

Santa, Mrs. Claus, and special guest will still be at Munster Town Hall tonight from 5:00 pm -6:30 pm.

Event will not be rescheduled!

Limited access to the Payment Drop Box this weekend. Utility bills are due on Wednesday, September 20, 2023.

Access to the Red Payment Box and the flag depository in the parking lot of Munster Town Hall will be limited on Saturday (09/16) and Sunday (09/17).

The front parking lots at Town Hall are scheduled to be seal coated and striped.

The parking lot will be barricaded Friday evening until the work is completed on Sunday afternoon.

Munster Town Hall is closed on Friday, April 7th. The Clerk-Treasurers office will be open at 7:30 am on Monday, April 10th. You can use the red drop box in the parking lot for payments.

With the volume of leaves and the weather, please be patient as the Town is working hard to get leaves picked up.

There are many leaves in Zone 8. We will work all day and overtime, but there is a chance we might not finish this zone in a single day.

Early voting at Munster Town Hall ends at 12:00/noon today.

Voting will be held at your precincts tomorrow (11/08) election day.

We see many people arrive after noon at Munster Town Hall to vote early and they are surprised to find the early voting polls are closed.

Many residents have found this attached to their front doors. This is NOT from the Town of Munster water department. It is a solicitation.

The Town of Munster is creating its new Comprehensive Plan, a roadmap for the Town to direct future growth and development over the next 20 years. Participation is key in the creation of the Plan so please join us and tell us your vision.

TODAY AT NOON the outdoor warning sirens will be tested. Sirens will be active for up to 3 minutes. In September, the normal schedule will resume with sirens being tested on the first Saturday of the month at 12:00 PM.

Tulip sculptures to bloom in Munster A total of 37 tulip sculptures, each standing 5 feet tall, will be displayed in a town-wide exhibit from May 30 through Sept. 5.
