Marcia Kimeldorf, PhD (Director of Clinical Services and Training) joined CFA four years ago after working in research on anxiety disorders, then in a hospital setting treating acute patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. During Marcia’s tenure, she has led and participated in many major and exciting changes at CFA. Marcia oversees the clinical training at CFA, and also spearheads the Doctoral Internship and Post-Doctoral Fellowship programs.
In the coming year, CFA anticipates nine new doctoral interns across all four of our New York offices! Marcia also mentors CFA’s fantastic clinicians, develops new programming to meet our patients’ needs, and ensures our quality of care remains exceptional as CFA expands and grows. CFA celebrates Marcia and her dedication to high quality mental health care.

Not all people with depression will show all symptoms or have them in the same degree. These concerns may also be indicators of issues other than depression. It’s not your job to make a diagnosis if you notice these signs. The goal is to help the person connect with an Employee Assistance program (EAP), if available through the employer, or with mental health support and services available to them.
