Our annual PFLAG picnic at Squaxin Park was a great time! We had fantastic fellowship, plenty of food, and formed new friendships. If you couldn't make it, we hope to see you on September 8th at 2 pm at the church. We're always looking for volunteers to join our board and support our events. In honor of Pride 🏳️🌈 Month, members of the LGBTQ+ community and their families are invited to join us on the evening of Friday, June 7, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. for a sunset bird walk led by expert guides.
Before the walk, attendees will have the unique opportunity to see taxidermy specimens and learn about birds in the refuge Education Center. No level of previous birding experience is necessary.
Meet at the Education Center at Billy Frank Jr. Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge at 6:30 p.m.
This event is a partnership between the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, Black Hills Audubon, and PFLAG Olympia.
