Poly has a proud tradition of active alumni engagement, and our community encompasses more than 4,900 alumni across the country and around the world.

Alumni & Reunion Weekend 2024 is a wrap! Thank you to the hundreds of Poly alumni and their guests who joined us over the weekend. From the 50-Year Club Dinner, to the Alumni Roundtable and Picnic, to reunion celebrations for our classes ending in 4s and 9s, there was no shortage of Poly spirit this weekend! Join us tomorrow (Saturday, February 23) in Garland Theater from 4-6 p.m. for a special Back to the Big Screen event! In celebration of Black History month, Jade Richard-Craven ’11 will screen Gridiron Grind, the movie she wrote and co-executive produced based on her own experiences at Poly. In this film, a high school athlete navigates physical and mental challenges after making the all-male football team but faces her greatest challenge when she begins to question her sexuality. Q&A with Jade to follow.

Brain food to kick off block week! The annual Block Day Breakfast tradition continued this morning as members of our Alumni Board helped fuel up Upper School students with breakfast burritos from Lucky Boy.

Join GIP this Thursday, September 28 from 6-7 p.m. to hear from Ernesto Cisneros—nationally acclaimed author of Efrén Divided and Falling Short. Cisneros will share about his books, his experience as a 20-year veteran educator in Santa Ana, and how to build empathy, and building empathy and belonging at school, in Pasadena, and beyond.

All alumni, parents, faculty, and staff are welcome to attend the Friday Night Lights fundraiser event (9/22, 6-10 p.m.) featuring dinner, cocktails, and a silent auction. Tickets are available for purchase at the link in our bio.
Bring the whole family to Panther Spirit Day on Saturday (9/23, 10-3pm). There will be kid-friendly activities, food trucks, and back-to-back athletic teams to cheer on. No tickets necessary, just bring your Poly spirit!

Pasadena Poly's Solar Car Team Sets Out For Multi-State Adventure The Poly Solar Team will be sun-powering their way from Fort Worth, Texas to Palmdale in the Antelope Valley. The week-long race along highways, across four states, begins July 16.
We’re rolling out the welcome wagon in anticipation of the 93 graduates from the Class of 2023 that will be joining our alumni community in June!
Thank you to all of the Poly alumni and community who returned to campus for the annual Alumni & Reunion Weekend over May 5 and 6! We were thrilled to welcome everyone back to reunite with friends (and connect with new ones), celebrate reunions with our classes ending in 3s or 8s, and induct the Class of 1973 into the 50-Year Club.

The Poly Film Program's "Back to the Big Screen" series returns this month to feature two acclaimed films:
"Everything Everywhere All At Once" will be shown on Thursday, 2/16 from 7-9:30PM in Garland Theater (presented in collaboration with the AP English Lit: Fantasy, Fiction And Film course). No RSVP necessary.
"Argentina, 1985" will be shown on Saturday, 2/25 from 2-5PM in Garland Theater, in collaboration with the World Languages Department and the Global Initiatives Program (GIP). This event will also include a panel discussion with Argentinians who were personally impacted by the events depicted, as well as an opportunity to taste Argentine specialities from the region! Save the Date! Alumni & Reunion Weekend is just around the corner on Friday, May 5–Saturday, May 6. Classes with reunion celebrations this year are:
1973, 1978, 1983, 1988, 1993, 1998, 2003, 2008, and 2018.
