A common question we get is about Entry-Level Driver Training and “Does Smith & Solomon do that?”

The answer is YES. The FMCSA’s ELDT regulations are mandatory and set in place in order to have baseline training requirements when obtaining a Commercial Driver’s License.

Why? Because of SAFETY. Driving a Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) requires a higher level of knowledge, experience, skills, and physical abilities than that required to drive a non-commercial vehicle.
