Wake Invests In Women is a collaboration between Wake County, Wake Tech, as well as public, private, and nonprofit organizations.
Our mission is to close the gender wage and representation gaps in STEM occupations in Wake County and the RTP region.
In a March 2022 Forbes article (What Are Durable Skills and Why Is There a Shortage?), it was highlighted that soft skills are now referred to as durable skills and are highly sought after in job applicants.
