PAID PARKING UPDATES:
We update paid on-street parking rates three times a year. Today, new rates are in effect.
About half of the paid on-street parking rates stay the same. Others increase or decrease by $0.50.
We'll never miss a chance to talk parking, the world's most interesting topic: our goal is charge a price for paid on-street parking that ensures there are one to two open and available parking spaces on a block throughout the day.
Rates are set based on the latest available data, and help people find parking spots more reliably near businesses and amenities throughout Seattle.

Say it ain’t so, I will not go…on I-405 between Renton & Bellevue this weekend, because it’s closing! It’s a Summertime filled with lots of construction, maintenance and events. So much for All the Small Things.
Wherever you may be headed to enjoy some Eternal Sunshine, please be mindful of the overnight lane/ramp closures along the I-5 corridor, or the full I-90, I-405 or US 101 closures we have this weekend. The STP and Ragnar Relay are also taking place on several state highways and local/city/county roads, so please use extreme caution near pedestrians and cyclists! Consider alternate forms of travel like bus, light rail, carpooling, train (hint hint: Amtrak Cascades), etc.
And if you’re heading toward Rivers And Roads, a Highway 20 Ride or exploring our amazing traffic Circles, plan ahead, leave early, and if you Wanna Get Better at travelling, remember to check our real-time travel map on our website, or use our mobile app. Lots of ways to plan ahead and know before you go, so please, don’t Call Me Maybe. You got this!

📅 ReThink Waste Grant Applications Due in July
We are teaming up with our partners at Waste Management for the sixth year to invest a total of $10,000 in ReThink Waste grants, which support innovative stewardship projects in Seattle. This year, funding is available to community organizations, small businesses, and local nonprofits in WM’s service area in Seattle.
El Centro de la Raza, a community organization, received a grant in 2023. The organization used the money at its historic building in Beacon Hill for water bottle refilling stations. By encouraging people to refill reusable water bottles instead of purchasing single-use plastic bottles, filling stations promote a culture of reuse and help the environment.
Read the grants application, and apply by July 1: https://forms.office.com/r/rPh19k7Gpi]
