Hear from EDCJCC Board Member Al Munzer, who shares his story of survival with the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum: "Even when there was so much evil, there were people willing to stand up and do what is right, like the family that saved my life... [who] risked their lives to save a nine-month-old Jewish baby, making it possible many, many years later for that Jewish baby to become a doctor."

We are saddened to hear of the violence against the LGBTQ community in Colorado Springs. We mourn the loss of lives and remember trans lives lost this year to violence as today is Trans Day of Remembrance. May their memories be for a blessing.
Today, November 20, is Trans Day of Remembrance (TDOR). Today we mourn the trans lives lost to gender-based violence this past year. We share the names of those killed, as well as recognize the ones whose names we do not know. This day is a reminder of the work we must do, to protect the lives of trans and LGB people and youth. It’s also a chance to celebrate the trans people living in spite of the danger and attacks they face every single day.
Join us in marking this day, with Becky Silverstein’s piece, “We are Worlds: A Memorial Reading for Transgender Day of Remembrance.” keshetonline.org/tdor22
