Hello Everyone,
As the new semester starts we are moving forward with changes, the Military and Veteran Service center will have changes as the following:
• Hours of operation for the center will be Monday through Friday 0800 to 1700; Director Burks and our school certifying official Sam Jones will have set office hours times and days but will work from home also; questions and paper work may be completed online or by email.
• Everyone who visits the center is asked to wear a mask while in the center- this is a campus regulation for everyone that is in buildings with other people- an exception to this will be if you are in the study room by yourself you may remove your mask while in the room.
• There will be a temperature check when you come into the center and hand sanitizer for your use.
• The lounge area at the front of the center will be encouraged to be used for short amounts of time only instead of whole day use.
• The quiet room and study room will be able to be used by one person at a time in each on a first come first serve basis.
• The computer room will be available for two students at a time in each room on a first come basis.
• Clean up after yourself and use the disinfectant wipes after using a room or equipment (similar to gym equipment use)
• The kitchen will no longer be able to be used for food storage or eating. Coffee will no longer be available.
• General member meetings will be help on a virtual basis with a recording available on social media.
If resources are needed or if your have questions feel free to contact myself or a MVS center employee. I hope everyone has a great semester and I look forward to serving you.
Thank you,
