All of the dogs have received distemper parvo vaccine, bordetella vaccine, received a dewormer, flea prevention, microchipped and they are current with a rabies vaccine.

Approx 2 year old spayed female Boxer Mix
This girl came in as a stray and very underweight. The shelter staff has been feeding her puppy food to get the weight back on, the fleas have been treated and she was dewormed to get rid of the intestinal worms that she was infested with.
Very active girl
She is shy at first but she does warm up quickly
The staff has been working on her confidence and she has came a long way from when she first came in.

Approx 1 1/2 year old spayed female wire terrier mix
This girl came in as an owner surrender.
Overall Princess has been a very laid back girl with everyone here at the shelter, has been fine with other dogs that we have tested her with, we do not test our dogs with cats so we do not know how she is with cats. She has enjoyed her toys that make noise. Princess did come in overweight and the staff here has her on a limited food intake.

This boy does have an underbite so at times he will drop his food. He loves any type of toy that he can toss up and easy for him to carry around. This boy has been one really sweet boy with the staff here at the shelter. Very food motivated and is currently on small breed dry food. This handsome boy goes from being an active boy to a "couch potato"

This girl was adopted & then returned not even 2 days later for basically being a typical puppy that is teething. The adult teeth are coming in and she does need teething/chew toys to help in this process. She does need at least puppy basic training. active little girl

This big boy does better with female dogs and has been the biggest sweetheart with the staff here. very food motivated however the staff does have him on a limited food intake due to when he came into the shelter, he was overweight.

This boy came into the shelter as a skeleton and the shelter staff has done an amazing job with feeding him several small meals through out the day and he is gaining weight nicely. Typical active puppy that is still teething so he will need KONG Teething toys. He can be shy at first but he does warm up very quickly. The staff has been working with this boy with him knowing that food is coming everyday and he does not have to eat so fast, which is normal when you see animals that have been starved. He has graduated from a slow feeder bowl to a regular bowl now.

This boy was found tied to a telephone pole near a known dumping wooded area that we often check. He did have a raging ear infection which has been treated & the vet said it looks good for him to move up to the adoption.

Approx 3 year old spayed female husky/shepherd mix
EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED!
Tasha came into the shelter a "stray" however we found out later that the person that turned her in was her owner. Please be truthful when turning in these dogs so we can do what is best & try to get these dogs out and not sit here on the stray hold.
Tasha has been a very shy girl at first with everyone that she meets but she does warm up. Tasha has not really played with any of the toys that we have tried her with as she mainly has been wanting attention with the staff here. Tasha was also infested with intestinal parasites which we have dewormed her to get rid of the hooks, whips & giardia that she had. Tasha is now gaining weight and doing great.

This beautiful girl came in as a "stray" however she came in extremely thin to where she was mainly nothing but bones. She is currently gaining weight and doing very well. The staff is feeding her puppy food for the extra calories that she needs. She is a talker just like a typical husky is. This girl had so many intestinal parasites that we had to deworm her with 2 different dewormers just to get rid of the hooks, whips and round worms that she was infested with as well with the flea infestation she had.

Update--ALL kittens have been adopted
These 4 neutered male kittens are about 2 1/2-3 months old and are the last of the 11+ owner surrenders that came in from the same home.
Typical active kittens that are into everything they can get their little paws on. They have enjoyed any type of toy or even an empty box that they can get themselves into during play time.
These kittens will need continued vet care for their kitten vaccines.
The shelter will be closed this weekend but will open back up for adoptions on Monday, July 15 @ 11AM

This girl is shy at first but when she sees that you have free hands for pettings, she will come right out. Overall she has been a really quiet girl here at the shelter. Sometimes you will find her hiding under her blanket.
