Difficulty regulating emotions is a common challenge for many children. Big feelings can be overwhelming and trying to “keep it together” all day at school can result in big meltdowns at home!

Often this is a result of the nervous system struggling to find its balance. Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle and effective therapy that can support your child’s nervous system in learning to regulate itself with more ease.

Our gorgeous Healing Cave, downstairs at our Norwood studio is available for rent on Saturdays and Sundays + up to 2 evenings per week. The Healing Cave is fully furnished, including a super comfortable massage table (that can be folded away if required).

Would suit Massage Therapist, Acupuncturist or other Holistic Health Practitioner. Would also suit someone looking for a quiet desk and workspace.

Weekends available for full day rental only.

When we are exposed to ongoing stress, our bodies learn to respond through activating (fight/flight) or shutting down (collapse/freeze). Our nervous systems become used to responding to the world around us in this way and it starts to become a place and experience that is hard for us to shift out of.

Through somatic based therapies, we can learn to listen to the subtle messages from our body, regulate our nervous systems and release the blockages from old trauma. Moving from a state of survival to a state of thriving!

Gorgeous Cyprus, brought me so many blessings including a meditative experience floating in the sea at the Baths of Aphrodite.

Back in the Evolve studio full time from Monday and looking forward to grounding back into the beautiful Australian autumn 🍂 🍁

This weekend in Helsinki, Finland I had the profound privilege of joining the Upledger Institute International “100 Club” - 100 classes taught.

I feel both honoured and humbled by the opportunities I have had to meet students all over the world and support them in embracing this incredible paradigm we are a part of.

I am grateful to Dr Upledger for developing this modality, to my teachers and mentors who have helped shape the practitioner and teacher I am today, to the satellites who have invited me to teach and to my students - I am not a teacher without you. 🙏🏻

I am also incredibly grateful for the long term therapeutic relationships I have had in my depth Psychosynthesis and Jungian practice. Through this long term inner work, I become more myself and ultimately this is what I bring to the table and to the classroom.

This Easter weekend I have had such a wonderful time exploring The Old Town of Vilnius, Lithuania (taking a little side trip from my teaching gig in Helsinki, Finland).

What I have been most struck by is the variety of spiritual traditions existing side-by-side. A beautiful example of tolerance and love and the interconnectedness of humanity.

UPDATE - the Evolve Studio will be closed from March 11th to April 19th while I head to Finland and Cyprus for an extended teaching trip. At times I can struggle with my sleep! The changing timezones as a result of my international work, the changing hormones, and the busyness of life - all contribute to some restless nights. BUT!! Last night I had the most divine, deep sleep (even my heart rate tracker agreed!) and the only thing I changed, was a spritz of my sheets and pillows with this Pillow Mist and a roll of “Mr Sandman” behind my ears and on my feet. My new studio space is continuing to Evolve. As I savour moments of slowing down throughout the day, I love noticing the light throw different shadows around the space. Art is all around us 🩶

Our favourite read right now is “The Way Forward” by Yung Pueblo. A beautiful book of poetry and insight for looking within and creating a life of ease. We love it so much we have a few copies for sale at the new Evolve studio! Pop in and see us to pick up a little piece of inspiration.

Our bodies store our history. All of the stories, experiences and memories that contribute to the fabric of our lives. Sometimes these stories, on an unconscious level, become a filter for how we experience our world. Sometimes this contributes to us feeling reactive, stuck and out-of-balance. Somatic bodywork can support you in shifting this memory held in your body, helping you to come to a place in your life that is more centred and at peace.

I am privileged to be able to travel the world teaching therapists about CranioSacral Therapy. This works takes me throughout Asia, Europe, North America, Central America, Africa and New Zealand. Combining my love of travel, with my love of connecting with people and learning about their lives is a blessing!

Here at National Yang-Ming University in Taipei, Taiwan we are finishing a wonderful 8-day deep dive into the work. What an honour it has been to guide these students 🙏🏻

Art surrounds us and is expressed through nature. When we slow down and take notice, we begin to come home to our inner nature.

We love our little plant forest at the new studio. Infusing our air with fresh vibes 🌿🌱🍃✨

Waterfall therapy = best therapy! A magnificent splash of negative ions boosts our serotonin (well-being hormone) levels - leaving us feeling centred and calm.

The theme for me this year is creating space for more moments of stillness, for more moments of creativity and for more moments of just noticing the simple beauty around me. Here is one such moment from a beautiful few days away in Bali.
