The Department of Art History and Art Conservation at Queen's University is very excited to announce the search for our first-ever Bader Chair in Art Conservation. This new tenure or tenure-track faculty position, made possible through the generous support of Isabel Bader, will be a distinguished academic or an exceptionally promising emerging scholar with expertise in advanced analytical imaging. The appointee will help establish advanced imaging as a new stream within the Art Conservation program, while developing new courses, mentoring graduate students, and leading major research initiatives in the science of diagnostic and analytical imaging.

With the Agnes Reimagined project, which will see the construction of new, state-of-the-art Conservation research and teaching labs, it is truly an exciting time to be joining the Art Conservation program at Queen's.
