🎨 NATIONAL GALLERY SINGAPORE X SEASOC: OPEN CALL ✨🌈

Hi everyone! In partnership with National Gallery Singapore, YNC SEASOC has a very special invitation for all the Southeast Asians of the YNC community.

If you’re looking to have your very own creative writing featured in the National Gallery, look no further! To incorporate community voices into the upcoming Living Pictures: Photography in Southeast Asia exhibition, the Gallery is looking for 3 students of SEA origin to write interpretive labels (essentially your own creative hot takes on the artwork) for 3 SEA artworks.

Living Pictures: Photography in Southeast Asia Hi! Thank you for your interest in being part of this community exhibition

As we gear up to deliver you another full set of events, panels, experiences and more in 2022, let’s first take a look back with ✨2021 SEASOC Wrapped✨! We got to see so many friendly faces (see if you can spot yourself in the pictures :D), unite as a community and learn together with our amazing guest speakers. Thank you for being part of our 2021; we couldn’t have had nearly as much fun without all of you! We’re excited to continue engaging in critical dialogues and equally important food adventures, starting off with our 2022 Diversity Week lineup 😋😋😋 see you there!!

If you're looking to immerse yourself in Southeast Asian culture & affairs, we do everything from celebrating cultural festivals (eg. Loi Krathong), workshops and tours (eg. National Gallery) to talks/programmes concerning regional politics and SEA's business & tech scene.

We'll be hosting, over zoom, a chill trivia-night style hang-out - all about Southeast Asian culture, cuisine and its other curiosities. We hope you'll then learn more about what we're passionate about as a society, what we do, and all the ways you'll fit right in here.
