The Singapore Mediation Centre is honoured to host our friends from Druk Holding & Investments Limited from the lovely principality of Bhutan and to share our experiences in ADR with them. We look forward to areas of collaboration and partnership going forward.

We resume our training with modules 1 & 2 of Strategic Conflict Management for Professionals. A total of 44 participants from various agencies trained with us throughout the week. We thank trainers David Lim , Eunice Chua and Lawrence Tan (FCIArb) for bringing our participants through the processes of mediation and our coaches for ensuring that they apply the techniques correctly.

Newcastle University (Chris W., Jonathan Galloway, Bryan Clark) visited SMC earlier today. During their visit, we discussed the diverse activities and methodologies SMC employs to support mediation advocacy in Singapore. We also shared experiences and explored the potential for knowledge exchange.

We look forward to future collaborations and mutual growth in the field of mediation, specifically in mediation training and enhancing student experiences.

Engaging and introspective discussions by our participants who joined us for module 1 of Strategic Conflict Management for Professionals over the last two days. Singapore Mediation Centre welcomes Kevin Kwek as its new Chief Executive. Kevin joins SMC after nearly 10 years in judicial service. We look forward to working closely with him.

Day 2 of the course saw participants being guided by our expert coaches on how to apply mediation techniques through a series of role plays. And to conclude, the real life experiences shared by SMC accredited mediator Francis Goh.
