There are over 250,000 women struggling with alcoholism in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Alcoholism is a disease, and one that is often stigmatized and not talked about, making it harder for alcoholic women to seek help. The Magdalen House is a nonprofit serving alcoholic women and their families at no cost. We offer a two-week residential program and an outpatient program to alcoholic women seeking recovery, as well as a family support group for loved ones of alcoholics. We do not close for the holidays and currently have several openings for all our programs. Food, toiletries, and clothing are provided for women in the residential program. A brief phone screening is needed to enroll. For more information, please visit https://magdalenhouse.org or call 214-324-9261.
