Yesterday the City Council approved a request by Dallas Park and Recreation Department and Parks for Downtown Dallas for $2.6 million in City Center TIF District funding to allow for the completion of Harwood Park, just north of Dallas Farmers Market in Downtown Dallas, Inc.. Harwood Park is the final of four priority parks that Parks for Downtown Dallas is building in partnership with the City of Dallas - City Hall. The park broke ground in late 2021 and is set to open fall 2023.
