Calling all Latin/Hispanic artists in the Borderland! We're looking for your art for this fall's Hispanic Heritage Month gallery exhibit. 🎨

Please submit any art that you feel fits the theme "Representing Latinidad/Hispanidad" and would like displayed in the UTEP Union Gallery in September. The deadline to submit is Monday, August 19. 🎉

A special shout out goes to the Bangladeshi S.A. who won Fan Favorite at International Food Fair 2023 and the Nepalese S.A for taking home the second place prize in 2022.🏆

Jose Hernandez is a Mexican-American former NASA astronaut and award-winning engineer. Born into a migrant family, Jose spent most of his childhood growing up throughout California's agricultural region. After an accomplished career as an engineer, he was selected as an astronaut and went to space in 2009. 🚀

A film exploring a woman's quest to rescue her sister from a dangerous situation and the larger issue of Missing/Murdered Indigenous Women, we recommend reviewing the plot beforehand for any other triggering elements.
