Ana-Flor Bernal, a UTEP senior studying English and American literature, has been named a recipient of a Fulbright U.S. Student Program English Teaching Assistantship award for the 2021-22 academic year.

Bernal is the third UTEP student to ever receive the honor and the second to be named this year, a testament to the University’s status as America’s leading Hispanic-serving research institution. Click on the link in our bio to learn more.

UTEP Names Winners of Inaugural Hawkins Scholarship Two students at The University of Texas at El Paso have been named the institution's first-ever Hawkins Scholars and were awarded $10,000 each.
