Hey Miners! Join us for our last trip of the Spring Semester! We will be going out to Big Bend National Park. Lets end the semester with a bang! The trip is from May 14th-19th, deadline to registrar is May 9th.
Big Bend is a popular vacation destination that has scenic vistas, diverse wildlife, outdoor adventure, historic sites, dark skies and border culture. Big Bend is a hiker's paradise containing the largest expanse of roadless public lands in Texas.
Rec Sports will partake in many different hikes through the Chihuahua Desert, Chisos Mountains, and hikes along the Rio Grande to some awesome hot springs!!! Big Bend is also known as one of the outstanding places in North America for stargazing. It has the least light pollution of any other national park unit in the lower 48 states.
Registration is first-come, first-served, spots are limited so register early to secure your spot. Registration can be done at our Member Services desk located at main entrance of the Student Recreation Center.

Project Move registration is still open, with close to 20 projects, there is option for everyone. Project Move will take place, April 15th, 2023.
