A message from The Vice President for Student Affairs, Dr. Theresa A. Powell, Ph.D. :
"The college years should be a time of excitement and personal growth. We want that for our students here at Temple. Temple students are bright, passionate, and engaged. They deserve the very best of experiences while attending college.
Unfortunately, the path to a degree is not smooth for everyone. Sometimes students face unexpected financial hardships that make it difficult to continue attending classes. Because we are part of an institution that cares for its students, we make every effort we can to assist them in overcoming the obstacles they may encounter.
While many students require scholarships and financial aid packages to help them meet a general need, occasionally hardships and emergencies present financial needs that are not covered by these packages. They may have difficulties purchasing textbooks and supplies or covering basic living expenses. We can help these students cope with these unexpected obstacles with the one-time stipends offered through the Student Emergency Aid Fund.
Every semester we are presented with students facing such obstacles. To continue providing our students with vital assistance so they can continue to take full advantage of a Temple education, the university needs your help. It is the generosity of Temple’s alumni, employees, parents, and friends which allows for the continued existence of the Student Emergency Aid Fund.
Please be assured that every application for assistance is reviewed thoroughly by staff in the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs.
Thank you in advance for your support. Your gift will make an immediate difference in the lives of today’s Temple students.
Sincerely,
Theresa A. Powell, Ph. D.
Vice President for Student Affairs"

The shuttles arrive approximately every 15 minutes at each stop, and you can track the locations of each shuttle in real time using the TransLoc app.
