Sometimes all we need is the presence of a loving and attuned other.

Sometimes I get so out of touch with myself (in order to tune in to others) that I'm not even sure what I'm feeling or needing. I think we've all experienced how doing that can come back to haunt us (I know I have)! Realizing once again how important it is to tune back in to ME. Can anyone relate?

Good morning, and welcome to my office!! I strongly believe that a peaceful, beautiful space can help aid the healing process. Come on in and stay a while!

Living in Silicon Valley, I hear a lot about new innovations that are supposed to help us "connect"; however, this study shows that emerging adults are among the very loneliest segments of the US population. This is one of the many reasons I'm so passionate about helping emerging adults and young couples cultivate authentic connection. Too much craziness happens during this time of life to tackle all alone!

Americans Are A Lonely Lot, And Young People Bear The Heaviest Burden A nationwide survey by health insurer Cigna finds that loneliness is widespread in America. Millennials and people in Generation Z tend to feel lonelier than retirees.

When our kids' negative emotions get big, it's imperative that we help them to understand that those emotions are identifiable and manageable. We do that by helping our kids label and accept what they're feeling and by showing them that those negative emotions aren't too 'scary' or 'too much' for us to handle. All these phrases can help us to do that!
