Purposeful Training Makes for a Healthier Life
Spending 30 years working in senior financial leaderships roles has taught me the importance of looking after my body and living a healthy life style. The fitter and healthier we are the better we are able to cope with the demands of the world we live in.
Throughout my life I have always been passionate about sport. Growing up in Auckland New Zealand my life was full of Rugby,Cricket, Athletics, and Soccer. My gym experiences started way back in the 1980s at Les Mills Fitness Centre Victoria Street West, Auckland. As the years progressed my sporting experiences shifted to coaching middle distance runners in track and field where I learned that a holistic approach to coaching and training produced the best performance results. Aeorobic fitness was only one part of the equation, a good nutitional diet combined with strength, conditioning, and body movement excercies to otimimise running efficiency became a routine part of yearly training cycles. This got me thinking about fitness requirements for living a healthy life in a fast paced demanding enironment.
My goal is to help people find a balance in lifestyle through fitness and healthy living. Develop purposeful excercise programs, help drop body fat and build muscle, help manage stress, improve energy levels , and help people to be able to move their body more efficiently.
