We are thrilled to announce the launch of our children’s book series, “Surviving Our Neighborhood.” This series is dedicated to helping youth identify ways to cope with mental health challenges and navigate life transitions after experiencing trauma in underserved communities. Through engaging stories and relatable characters, the books aim to provide young readers with the tools and inspiration to overcome adversities. We believe this series will make a profound impact on the lives of children in Baltimore city, fostering resilience and driving lifelong positive change. “Surviving Our Neighborhood” aligns perfectly with our organization’s mission to support and empower youth in our community.

As we prepare for our virtual fundraiser August 9th, we are proud to announce that a portion of the proceeds will also go towards publishing and printing of our book series💙

It was truly an honor to serve as a panelist, delving into the critical discussion on Baltimore’s violence reduction strategy. It was inspiring to explore the pivotal roles that community leaders and first responders play in shaping a safer, stronger city. As we begin summer sessions this week with our youth, we are thrilled to announce what will be apart of one of the BIGGEST back 2 school events in the city. Please SAVE THE DATE💙 We are thrilled to be in collaboration with as we have been working effortlessly behind the scenes to lock in vendors, secure resources and put together a FANTASTIC event. This is the FIRST ANNUAL back 2 school event and I must say really went all out with planning. Honored to be alongside our partner .responders.inc as they will be performing a LIVE stop the bleed training. Together we plan to create an unforgettable experience for our City💙💙There will be guest performances, food, fun, games and FREE supplies.

Before we end the month of June, let’s not forget to remind our “MEN” to focus on their MENTAL HEALTH. Because MEN who TALK HEAL💙

Men in particular are commonly seen as self-sufficient, unemotional, and tough and when they deviate from this, people can respond by being judgmental or sometimes derisive, which can make it difficult for them to seek help for mental health issues.💙

Pay attention to the signs. Especially in our YOUNG MEN🙌🏽

May 27, 2024 Marked the 2yr death anniversary for our Founder/Executive Directors son who was shot and killed in Baltimore. His death came just 1 day before his 18th birthday. May 28th 2024 family and friends celebrated what would have been his 20th Bday💙😇

As her story continues to touch many hearts, she inspires to change many lives as being directly impacted by gun violence is an utterly and unimaginable pain any parent should have to bare. As her pain has transformed into PURPOSE, and passion for our youth, we will continue to spread the message to “PUT THE GUNS DOWN”

Our city is full of potential, and with the help of community leaders and organizations who continue to uplift our youth, we will one day see the CHANGE we hope to see.
