SUNDAY MARKET MADRID
Workshop professors Andrea Cote and Daniel Chacon met the writers at the Rastro market, oriented them to how huge it is --with so many different sections of stuff new stuff old stuff expensive stuff cheap stuff --and asked them to go out and take photos, but submit only two.
Then they had time to sit down and write nonstop free writing, about anything the images evoked.
Here are a few.
Later we'll share some of the work the images inspired.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, April 17th, creative writing professor, Sylvia Aguilar Zéleny will present her award-winning novel "Trash". This is the first time "Trash" is presented in the borderland. The presentation will also feature poetry readings from our very own secretary, Sebastian Carrasco.
