Did you know the Young Women Philanthropists of Greater Memphis is an auxiliary of the Women's Foundation for a Greater Memphis? See this awesome post by the Community Foundation of Greater Memphis. Just another reason to join us for the YWP Meet and Greet!

Fun fact: In 1988, the Women’s Fund was established at the Community Foundation with $50,000 gift from Mertie Buckman. In 1994, the Foundation initiated a series of meetings that led to the formation of the Women's Foundation for a Greater Memphis, created to recognize and encourage philanthropy among women and to better the lives of women and children in our community.

In our 50th anniversary year, we invite you to learn more about the Community Foundation and how we help people do more to change lives, improve communities, and build futures.
