“And Jesus went throughout all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.””

As we continue to live our lives in this world, may we remember to live lives for Jesus with His concerns upon our heart. May we reach the lost, love the hurt, and be the light. Seek first His kingdom in all that you do, and love His people above yourself. For the harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Take part in His Kingdom building.

Today’s the Day! Steal this prayer 👇🏻🙏🏻

Lord Jesus, I ask for Your help as I begin this new school year.
Allow me to experience Your presence in the many blessings You put before me.
Open my eyes to the new challenges and exciting opportunities that this new school year brings.
Open my heart and mind to new friends and new professors.
Give me a generous spirit to be enthusiastic with my studies and courage to accept new opportunities.
Help me to be attentive to my professors and let me experience Your presence in my new community.

A brochure tells you details and shows a clear picture of what to expect.

A compass shows which direction to go.

We want God to provide a brochure showing us what our lives will look like 10 years from now. God doesn’t always give out brochures, but always provides a compass in the Holy Spirit and Jesus.

Thursday Night Recap:

One thing she shared that stuck out to me was that knowing and being known by Christ is the end all be all of the Christian life.

You are seen, known, and loved perfectly by Christ.

Last night, Pastor Rob shared a message about Loving the world versus Loving God.

The only thing that remains is the Lord. All else rots and withers away. Hold fast to the eternal.
