Joyce and the Dragon chapter had the privilege of volunteering at the Great Plains Food Bank this afternoon! We learned of some shocking and almost disturbing stats:
- 1in 9 people in North Dakota and 1 in 6 people in the United States go to sleep hungry each night.
- 1,300 hundred kids in the Fargo-Moorhead area are in the food banks backpack program. This program provides meals to children who may not have access to food outside of school.
Any donations, whether it be monetary needs or time to volunteer, are greatly appreciated!💚🐉🔥🐮💎

Thank you to the Great Plains Food Bank for the amazing opportunity to help out our wonderful community! Today, as a group of twelve, the Dragon Chapter measured and bagged 3,819 pounds of potatoes to be shipped throughout the state of North Dakota. This amount is potatoes will provide 3,182 meals for families throughout the state and Clay county!
