I couldn’t be prouder of all of our graduate students (I love our programs!), but it was one of the best days professionally to see our Hmong language teachers cross the stage. We have been able to license 12 Hmong teachers in Minnesota so far!

First cohort of Hmong language teachers accredited in Minnesota - MinnPost Before this master’s program at the University of Minnesota, there was no language licensing program for teaching the Hmong language.

She built on what Paul Sandrock from ACTFL did with our students last session about proficiency (we forgot to take a picture though!). We are lucky to have such incredible experts meet with the students!

Graduation yesterday was pretty great for our Master’s students! Dr. Eboo Patel gave the commencement address, they were hooded, and we celebrated with family and friends afterward. What a wonderful day!
