Participating in a Concordia Scholarship Interview this week? Read on for tips and insights to make the most of this opportunity.

1. It may sound cliché, but honestly, be yourself. The CSIs are an opportunity for the International Admissions Team to get to know you and vice versa. On both sides, it’s important that Concordia is clearly the best fit.

2. Have talking points prepared in advance. Expect to be asked about your academic background and extracurricular activities and have a few loose talking points ready to go so you can speak about the star student you are.

3. Your questions are important, too. There will be time toward the end of the interview for you to ask questions. Take advantage of this time!

4. Don’t stress. Participating in a CSI helps the Scholarship Committee make award decisions but the decision doesn’t totally hinge on these conversations. Your full application will be taken into account.
