Lieutenant Maiah McCowan balances being active-duty in the Air Force while pursuing not one, but two master's degrees - an MHA and MBA! With the support of her commanders and professors, Lt. McCowan's drive and passion for learning, will propel her to impact change both in and out of the military.

Have you heard about the Infuse Mental Health Project?

All of the graduate students in school psych in this picture are being supported through the MSUM Infuse Mental Health Project, a federal mental health service professional demonstration grant program. Many of these students are also getting support from a Minnesota Department of Education ( MDE) student support personnel “pipeline” grant. It is great to see this kind of support for people who want to do this important work- and to reduce barriers and increase access to graduate school so we have more diverse school psychs working in our increasingly diverse schools and communities.
